(415) 639-XXXX ext.116In 1992, Suzuki launched the GSXR600 with a water-cooled 599 cc inline-4 engine. It was the first model to have the same body specifications as the 1992 GSX-R750, merely with a smaller engine. After taking a production hiatus between '94 and '96, in 1997 Suzuki had the GSXR600 redesigned with the introduction of Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD). In 2001, fuel injection was introduced to the GSXR 600. In 2005, it was time for a full overhaul: The fairings and fuel tank were new, Inverted forks with radial-mounted brakes were added, titanium valves, and a 32-bit ECU were only a few of the changes made to the 2005 model year. As if that wasn't enough, in 2006 Suzuki introduced the all new GSX-R600. The exhaust was now slung under the chassis and a slipper clutch was introduced. The motor was a complete redesign, but with the same bore and stroke as before. In 2008, a new Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) was added. A New subframe, bodywork, and fuel tank were also part of the face lift package.
