2013 Norton Commando 961 Sport, Norton Fans, Good news! Norton has finally begun accepting orders for 2013 Commando s to be delivered in the 2nd quarter of this year or April - June 2013. They have EPA certification in hand and expect California CARB certification to allow deliveries beginning of April 2013. The pricing below corresponds to 2012 pricing spec and color, but is for 2013 model year bikes. The pricing is only for confirmed orders with a deposit. 2013 961 Sport MSRP $16,995 solo $17,995 dual seat 2013 961 Caf Racers MSRP $18,995 solo $19,995 dual seat The 2013 SF s (superseding the 2012 SE s) are not available in the US. If you don t yet have a deposit deliveries from dealer stock will begin in the 3rd quarter of this year, July 2013, and will be subject to a 6% price increase. That means if you place a refundable deposit now of $500 you re guaranteed a bike April-June 2013 at the above prices which saves you about $1,000-$1,200 depending on model. If you don t place a deposit, Norton will ship bikes for dealer stock beginning in July 2013 at the higher price. Any deposit is fully refundable for any reason, including just changing your mind, at any time, so there s no real risk, and a significant reward.
