1978 Bultaco Sherpa Model 199, only two previous owners, UK registered on a T plate. Absolutely stunning little used bike f irst registered in September 1978 and subjected to a strip down and rebuild; parts almost entirely sources from In-Motion trials the British Bultaco experts. Engine rebored and fitted with new Italkit piston and small end bearing. New In-Motion airbox and filter. Soda blasted and ultrasonically cleaned carburettor, fitted with new slide, gaskets, seals and filter. Powder coated frame New modern OZO expert shocks New fork seals New Wheel bearings front and rear Rebuilt wheels with repainted and polished hubs fitted to refurbished stock Akront rims and Central Wheel stainless spokes and nipples. Repainted engine, exhaust and side panels, stock tank paint, fitted with new filler cap. New mudguards in white (because I prefer the looks) rather than the red ones fitted as standard. Nearly all of the fasteners are stainless steel, with the exception of a few new standard Bultaco logo bolts. New Rental bars and refurbished stock levers, fitted with new rubber protection boots. New Venhill Clutch and front brake cables. New chain tensioner assembly. All new springs on front and rear brakes and side stand. A much sort after appreciating classic that would add value to any collection. I purchased this bike to restore (because I loved doing the restoration) and ride, but couldn't get to grips with the left foot brake, so have decided to pass it on to someone else to cherish as or use as intended. It comes with an tatty original manual as well as a reprinted one and a reprinted parts book. there is some old documentation (bills) going back to 1979. Still available at ListedBuy!
