CR 500 Aluminum Frame Conversion This bike started out as a 2005 Honda crf 450, frame rails were cut out and replaced with new ones, new billet motor mounts were made and welded in, airbox and rads modified for the cr 500 motor also. 1990 cr 500 motor installed, 38mm PWK carb,cr 250 ignition system and FMF pipe and silencer installed. dunlop mx51 front 80%, mx31 rear 80%, renthal sprockets and did chain in good condition. The Good; bike runs strong and handles great ! The Bad; I had an issue with the kickstarter, when i took the clutch case off to inspect i found the countershaft bearing to be lose in the case. This can be repaired with an oversize bearing, motor sold with bike as is, you repair !
