Description:
This was a show bike back in the 70's. Manufacture date 2/71,the title was issued on 7/1/71. Much of the motor work was done in 1972 with all new Honda gaskets, studded engine with acorn nuts,polished covers everywhere, or new chrome plating including the chain guard and kickstand, kick starter and cover. A recent nut and bolt full cosmetic restoration was done this year prior to this, it was kept in a Lads Den and Very Well maintained for 18 years. Frame is pristine, chrome is ABSOLUTELY rust free and hardly any rock chips underneath. Pipes are HM 300, fronts are excellent, and the rears are too, except for a small ding in the left lower exhaust, but you can't see it. Seat is Brand New OEM. Lower fork tubes removed and show polished, Boots were installed, New OEM Handlebars installed and wired inside the bars. Top fork ears chromed along with chrome headlight new turn-singles also. Performance is way above average due to extensive horse power available. A specially laced 16 " rear chrome wheel was laced to the stock Honda Hubs, tire size was changed to match the original height. Notice the shorter performance spokes, New Ruby Red paint & OEM graphics. Paint has a small imperfection by lower left side of the seat and a couple of catalysis dots, but probably could be colored sanded & buffed out. Bike has added chrome Highway pegs to the original bosses,the bike also has chrome crash bars.The bike has been tuned and carb synched. Performance is above crisp and overall mechanics has been well sorted and bike drives as new and sounds awesome. Motorcycle has restored gauges, speedometer was the wrong one for this bike actual mileage is very close, with new gauge faces and jewels. Included in auction is the original title and original owners manual (factory Honda Manual), complete tool kit in Honda Bag and full Clymers manual for bike. Bike also comes with complete box of parts, Honda chrome OEM covers for engine. OEM headlight with glass, extra cables and electronics.
