Winter time price before it goes into storage. Price will go up in the Spring. Was $3500 reduced to $2750. 1978 Honda Goldwing. GL-1000. Runs good, rides nice. This has been about a 5 year restoration project. Doing a little bit at a time as money was available. Lots of work and time. Here is small part of list of things that were done: New exhaust, 304 stainless steel Motad exhaust $680.00. New tires. New brake pads, All master cylinders and calipers rebuilt. radiator was boiled out and painted. Carburetors rebuilt. Thermostat replaced, timing belt and tensioners replaced. New valve covers and timing belt covers. Big list of gaskets and seals replaced. Crash bar and sissy bar re-chromed, tail light bracket re-chromed. The list goes on and on. I have most receipts. About a half pickup truck load of parts go with it. Front ferrings, two motors, frame, tires and wheels, boxes of misc. seats, This list goes on and on too. You get the picture. Presently has under 36,000 miles, but I ride it a little. It's not done as I want it to be--but it won't take much. Needs the tins painted to your preference. May need a battery and stator cover gasket. What's left to do is cosmetic. I have about $5000 in this in bike, repairs and parts.
