This is a 1999 triumph thunderbird sport cafe racer. This is the godfather to the modern sport bike and a throwback to the vintage racers of the 60's and 70's with modern performance. She took 1st place at the 2011 mid Ohio vintage race days, cafe racer bike show (1990 older) and was mentioned in Cafe Racer magazine, which I have. This is a two up cafe because the rear cowl is removable, my wife rides with me often. Adult owned maintained. Cosmetic Mods- front to back (by the Hard Top Shop, KY) - Custom paint triumph tornado red, white, and union jack, - cats eye turn signals, - ribbed head light visor, -gauges and center piece were hand sanded, polished, and buffed (10 hours) to chrome finish and coated. -Clubman bars, -bar end mirrors, -carb tops painted, -cafe seat stitched to match paint scheme with triumph logo, -removable cowl, - rear fender chopped, -lucas tail light, -cats eye turn signals, Mechanically- -In 2010 carbs cleaned, -new air filter air box and air box assembly, -oil/filter changed, - new plugs, -light bulbs changed in gauges -battery tender installed -receipts for all dyno shows 71.61 Horse power. Print out included. Stock upgrades- this is what the sport model offers over other triumphs. adjustable suspension, dual disk front brakes, adjustable levers, sporty rear sets, good tread. This bike is a head turner and has won some trophies, but I do ride her, I plan on cleaning her before a buyer comes, but with test rides I'm not going all out. Also, the speedometer can be a little quirky, call for details, just trying to be detailed.
