Used 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 24,800 miles
2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 75024,800 miles. Will have more by the time of sale. It was never a garage queen and isn't pristine! However, it is in very good condition. While some of the chrome, such as on the forks, isn't show-bike shiny, there aren't any major blemishes with the paint. The bike comes with:-Kawasaki windscreen-New clutch cable.-Michelin Commander 2s front and rear, installed 5/23/12 at 22,729 miles. As is typical at the time of a tire change, the front and rear brakes were checked and were fine.Recent maintenance:-Shaft drive changed on 5/12/11 by prior owner. Kawasaki was so kind to send some of these bikes off the assembly line without greasing the shaft drive. This may have been one of them (I think 2003 was the main year this occurred). Prior owner had the shaft drive replaced. I have receipt from the service center.-Iridium spark plugs installed 6/9/12-Final drive gear oil changed 6/9/12-Clutch cable lubed 6/13/12-Brake fluid changed 7/1/12-New air filter elements installed 7/1/12-New maintenance free battery installed 8/7/12Reason for selling:I purchased this in May, 2012 with 22,400 miles on it as I needed a bike to make my annual June ride. I have been riding sport bikes for the prior 5 years and thought I could live with a cruiser, and I owned one of these from about 2003-05. However, despite how comfortable this bike is, I am going to return to a sport bike.Terms:Do your homework before you commit to buying this (or any) bike. I had someone win an auction on a prior bike and then want to back out stating he didn't know much about the bike!! See VN750com to read about the Vulcan 750. The Vulcan Verses were started by yours truly when I owned one of these in the past. There are no refunds on this sale as I only sell items that are in good shape or better, and describe them as they are.Feel free to e-mail with question; however, I've bought and sold several motorcycles and a car over E-bay, so don't try to hustle me. I will not respond to e-mails that:--just ask if I still have the bike--ask if I will ship the bike--have some stupid scam, financial or otherwise--spell “please” as “plz” - those are always scams--otherwise just look like BS.I am not selling on Ebay any longer as it seems their fees have become excessive.
