2006 Buell XB12Ss Lightning Long 1200 (Salvage Title) SUBFRAME RECENTLY REPAIRED (Professionally welded and painted) For sale is a 2006 Buell XB12Ss Lightning Long 1200 w/ a Salvage title (in-hand). This bike's title was deemed "salvage" due to damage incurred during a theft recovery. Besides the list below, nothing else was damaged, and everything works properly. This is truly a unique street fighter style bike and a real head-turner. The main frame and forks are straight, the subframe was professionally repaired recently and painted, all electrical and gauges work properly, and it has an aftermarket slip-on Jardine RT-One muffler ($250 value). The bike overall runs flawlessly, engine runs strong, transmissions shifts flawlessly, no leaks, dents, dings, bike fires right up, and it's extremely fast! The drive belt and sprockets are in perfect condition, Shinko tires have 90% life, and it just had a recent oil change. All plastics were removed and the bike was gone over from top to bottom. I had all intentions of converting this bike to an R-Title and keeping it, but due to my busy schedule as a restaurant owner and our new baby, I am forced to part with it. My loss is your gain! The following parts where verified as damaged and will need replacement or repair: - A small portion of the plastic lower tail cover is broken / missing - $ unknown - cheap - Front brake pads need replacing - $25 Here is a small list of cosmetic imperfections: - Underside / bottom of plastic seat molding has a transverse crack but seat functions normally - Clutch lever end is scraped - Front brake lever end is slightly curled - Rear rim has scuff on the inside This is a very minimal amount of work and $ required to have the bike converted to an R-Title, which will be then be insurable, inspectable, able to register, and 100% safe for the street use. This bike is being offered at an extremely reasonable price do to its current conditions and low mileage, and will save you a lot of $ compared to buying it for over $5k+ with a Clear title!
