1999 Harley-Davidson FAT BOY
Used 1999 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 11,700 miles, Orange
Last of the Milwaukee Shakers, the 1999 Fat Boy is a solid-mounted, non-counterbalanced Evo bike. She feels, sounds, and even smells like a Harley Davidson should. If you want old-school cred, without an engine rebuild every 20K (eyeballing you, Shovelhead bikes) an Evo is the sweet spot, especially a late 1 like this. Bought the bike for the wife to move up from a Sporty, but it's just too much iron for her to handle. This old girl can be set up for touring or as a street brawler. She has a fullsize windscreen, driving lamps, a crash bar, and a set of throwover bags for when you want to go for the weekend. Or strip off the windshield and bags and pop on the LePara Bare Bones seat for around town. 2 bikes for the price of one!She has 11,675mis today, and I may put a few on here and there until she sells. Engine is bone stock and unmolested. Original timing cover is still riveted on. Theres a pair of chrome wind baffles that go up the side of the forks for highway riding, if you want them too. I will be pulling the pullback riser off and replacing it with the stock one. She'll have fresh fluids and plugs when you take her home.
