This is one stunning Valkyrie example, in near showroom condition with just a few tasteful accessories installed. REVEL in the 21 year old, factory applied, ultra rare, Pearl Cheyenne red and gloss black in gorgeous condition. This bike turns heads and commands respect everywhere it goes. I am the second owner and have owned the Valk since 2011. Bike has always been garaged by me and certainly by the first owner for it to remain in such excellent cosmetic condition. THE BAD - The chrome saddlebag guards are non OEM and while they look and fit quite well, on close inspection the chrome has some fine pitting on the left hand side saddlebag guard. There is one very tiny ding in the gas tank right hand side, and I do mean tiny,I owned the bike for 5 years before I noticed it, you have to be looking for it or you won't know it's there.THE GOOD - I am a former Honda Suzuki dealer with factory mechanics training. OVER THE PAST YEAR I have performed the maintenance and repairs as needed to prepare this beauty for many more years of troublefree riding. The list of items that were addressed includes but is not limited to:Fuel petcock was replaced with a NEW OEM petcock and the gas tank was flushed thoroughly. Carburetors were professionally rebuilt with new floats, shut off valves, main jets and assorted seals as needed. They were then syncronized and are performing perfectly. New air filter and o-rings on the intake manifolds. New Gates timing belts were installed. Valve clearances were checked and adjusted as needed. Engine oil and filter were changed within the past 100 miles.Tires have alot of life left but were removed to install new steel angled valve stems after some cracking was noticed on the OEM rubber stems. While the wheels were off new brake pads were installed both front and back. Rear wheel splines were cleaned, serviced with moly grease and new o rings installed. Both brakes and clutch fluids were flushed and refilled with new synthetic DOT 4 fluid. New alternator was installed approximately 3,500 miles ago. New battery installed recently. Surely one of the nicest Valkyries you'll find anywhere!! Includes bag liners, owner and shop manual, OEM clear shield.
