Relisting this motorcycle because the winning bidder decided he didn’t want to (or couldn’t) buy it.The motorcycle will start and run but after a while it starts to sputter and then dies. I found that switching the running mode (urban, sport, touring) will “reset” it for a while but eventually sputters again. It also doesn’t recognize the FOB anymore (even with a new battery) so I'm wondering if the command module is bad. I took it to the Ducati dealership in Columbus Ohio and they replaced the tires, changed the oil, and spent a lot of time looking at the horn, but they couldn't diagnose the FOB problem. Judging from the lack of "diagnostic" time on the $900 bill, they didn't spend much time trying to figure out the problem. So, I'm giving up and listing it for parts. The good:- Never wrecked- Looks good - New tires- Battery is about a year old- Fresh oil change- 163 HP – very fast!- Small faring to keep the wind off my chest- No rips or tears in the seat- comes with a spare touring seat- No major scratches- Starts easily The Bad:The FOB doesn't work. I start it by holding the FOB near the secondary antenna under the seat.- Runs for a while but then starts to sputter. The controls on the left side of the handlebar need to be replaced. (Maybe disassembled and the contacts cleaned?) The horn isn’t working, and it takes extra effort to navigate the setup options on the screen using the controls.- Low beam headlight is out but the high beam works The rear shock adjuster that allows you to change the settings between firm and soft isn’t working (it just spins). I have a replacement shock that will go with the bike.Note: most of the pictures were taken in the summertime but the bike still looks the same. If you're looking for parts or have the ability to fix the computer system, this bike is for you!
