Harley Davidson XLCH SPORTSER 1972 USA import I registered it in the UK 5 years ago and I have been riding it ever since. the bike starts well, runs well and is quick! Front brake is useless, back brake works well. Tax and MOT Exempt! The Bike: - Stock from, tins, fork, wheel, engine etc - Factory Kick only XLCH - lunch box oil tank - Genuine Fubar 1970's 2 into 1 exhaust system - Genuine Panniers/hard luggage, has some small damage but fully functional. (very hard to find in the uk, i paid near to £1000 to get them here from the states) - S&S short carb - Genuine Buddy Seat - Alternator conversion, Charges amazing! will run with a completely flat battery no issues. - New Battery, just fitted this week, Wasn't rode much over winter and the old one gave up. (12/05/2023) - Tyres are both good and have plenty of life left - Had paint 2 years ago by Paint by matt (Leeds) great job! has a few battle scars now but looks great. - New clutch plates last year - New points last month - Lots of spares included, Points, coils, Plugs, tubes, cables etc etc (see pictures) - Bike starts well hot or cold, - see the video attached. - Has a slight oil leak from the sump plugs, never taken them out are they are notorious for stripping, and always changed the oil by pulling a line. - Front brake is bad, its an original burger drum, new shoes are included in the sale, I never bothered fitting them. - I have a brand new front rim and spokes to include in the sale, i was planning to replace it but never did. Any questions please ask, come and take a look! The bike is kept at my parents in Settle North Yorkshire at the moment as I have recently had a baby and no longer have the time to ride it as often.
