This is Vw Trike with a Harley Davidson front. I inherited this trike and had hoped to get it on the road but with the lack of time and the space to store it long term this is not possible. I had the pleasure of riding it to its mot which it failed on a list of things that any DIYer could do but unfortunately I’m not one of those people and there is no garage around my area that will work on custom trikes. I have replaced the nylon bush and the gear linkage coupling as it would not go into any gears when I first got it but now they all work. 4 gears and reverse. The mot garage is about 5 miles away and the trikes engine was great and had absolutely no issues with reaching 70mph. Pulling away from traffic lights I soon found out how powerful it was when the front forks lifted off the road (moment of panic). The thing is loud and makes you smile every time u rev it. I will be really sorry to see it go. It will be a great quick project for someone and I’m eager to sell. I’m pricing it for a quick sale so no silly offers. The trike is SORN and has no MOT so it will need to be trailered (or take a risk😉). Viewings are welcome, just message through e Bay.
