Here is your opportunity to buy an ALL ORIGINAL 1929 Harley Davidson JD Twin 1,200cc Vintage and Collectible Motorcycle, Frame No. 29JD / Engine 29JD8092.During the 1920's Harley Davidson put in place several improvements such as new 74cubic inch V-Twin introduced in 1922, and the ''teardrop'' gas tank in 1925. The motorcycles also gained weight, the 1915 model weighed 305lb, the 1929 weighs 400lbs, and they often beat the newer bikes in races during the 30's. A front brake was added in 1928 although notably only on the J/JD models. In the late summer of 1929 they change the inlet-over-exhaust valve configuration to side valve v-Twins. These were produced orm 1929 to 1931. Motorcycle has not run in 10 years, but is COMPLETE, with ALL original parts, other than the tires. It is missing the cylinder tool box that sits right above the front tire as you will see in the photos and a battery.
