I am putting my RARE 1998 GSXR-750 SRAD up for sale.This model, the SRAD models are becoming pretty hard to find nowadays.I personally searched 5 mnths for a 750 SRAD that was fuel injected and this is it.1998, 1st year for fuel injection. Revolutionary Suzuki Ram Air Direct intake system. 1999 Sportbike of the year award winner. These models were made essentially to the exact same specifications as the Suzuki GP Motos, which also won the wold championship in 1998. Now to the bike itself... It is is good overall condition. I have personally invested about $600 into the bike in various service items since I bought it in June. Tires are essentially new, wheels are great. Fork good, polished frame. It is lowered from the PO as he was smer. Mileage is 37K. Spark plugs replaced August as with battery, starter switch and solenoid. The plastics are ok, it has some rash but good overall. It is a really nice bike, I mean really nice. It needs some cosmetic work such as a good detail, some bolts put back on for some of the fairings and cosmetically it is set. Mechanically, it needs a valve adjustment and a new electrical relay from the battery to starter. The bike does run, but 2 of the valves are bad and currently it is not getting power to the dash so it will not start because of the electrical relay issue. I have receipts from a local shop with the work done in August and they can verify the running condition of the bike there along with the electrical and value job. Transmission and clutch good. I was quoted about $550 for the valve job and about another $300-400 for the electrical work. This is from a DEALER, so obviously if you are mechanically inclined, you could do it in about six hours total and about $300-400 in parts.I am only selling because I have had two knee surgeries since I bought the bike, and I am unable to ride for the immediate future as well as the 750 is too much power for me. This bike is meant to raise hell and it certainly does. Normally I would spend the money and ride it, but I also need to get some head gaskets replaced on my truck, so I can't afford both especially to have the funds invested in the bike that I may not be physically able to ride until my knee permits in April or May. Come then I certainly will be buying another SRAD.$1750 CASH OBO! Clean title in hand, ready to be put in your name.
