1941 Indian. Army bike converted to a civilian style. A reasonable price to get in to a cool old Indian. It's rough and in good shape at the same time. The tires, spokes and wheels are in great shape as is the frame and forks. I don't think the engine has many miles on it. The fins are in good shape. 3 speed transmission works fine. I ran the bike 10 years ago when I bought it. The gas tank may be off a chief, I'm not sure, but it's not the original tank for the bike. Check out the 130 mile-an-hour speedometer. It goes nowhere, meaning it's not connected. The speedo on the front is the original. I'm not sure which model Indian had that 130. I'm sure one of my Indian expert buddies will be jumping in to steer me straight. I listed the serial number as well as I could read it off the frame. The engine is unstamped. My research tells me Indian made replacement motors for the war time use machine and purposely didn't give them a serial number. When I first bought the bike, I thought the engine serial number had been ground off. It's clearly not the case. You can barely make out the MOTOLAMP on the headlight. It shouldn't take much to get it running again. I'm selling it as is with a bill of sale.
