1945 Harley Davidson EL CivilianThis 1945 Harley Davidson EL is a concoursrestoration of an incredible limited production model made during World War II.This 1945 EL model Knucklehead is a recent restoration (2022) using alloriginal Harley Davidson parts. Literature indicates only 398 EL Models weremade, paint colors available were Civil Defense Grey and Silver; and the carbbody painted black. Current owner restorer found this basket case at an auctionin California in the 90’s and put it away for future project. The restorationis of Concourse quality and was completed in 2022. This 1945 Harley Davidson ELis all correct, hard to find 1945 Harley EL Parts. Engine was restored by aknowledgeable Knucklehead engine builder. This motorcycle has correctlycompleted 313 break in miles and it has been serviced so the bike is ready forshow and go! Review the pictures carefully, she is a beaut!This bikehas a clean California Title and current registration. It has matching bellynumbers and would be expected to obtain 95 points or more if judged by an AMCAjudging event. MILEAGE: 313 miles showing ona working speedometer prepared by Stan.PAINT: Thismotorcycle was painted by a professional and is an excellent application ofquality product. No scratches or blemishes noted. Color is correct for a 1945Harley Davidson EL.SHEET METAL: Sheet metal iscorrect for a 1945 Harley Davidson EL. It is well fit and free of dings ordents. CHROME: No Chrome on this bike and the other plated materials are correctlyfinished. MECHANICAL: The engine was rebuilt by an experienced oldtimer that knows his business! Bike isbarely broken in with 313 miles on the rebuild and will need the correct TLCbreak in ride to set it up correctly. Bike is an easy start if you know thedrill. It is smooth and clean through the gears. WHEELS & TIRES: Harley Davidson Kelsy Hayes rims painted blackwith Cadmium plated spokes and nipples.
