Description:
1947 Harley Davidson U 80" Flathead. Matching belly numbers with a clean title. Engine has less than 2000 miles on it after a complete rebuild by DC Choppers in Arkansas. Wishbone frame, +4 Springer, Wassel tank and an early cut down sportster fender with real RH55 tail light and a OG box chopper light, all LED. I used a lot of CP bolts on this build, if you're that level of a Harley nerd, you know what I mean. Chrome star hubs rebuilt and laced to Boranni Rims with stainless Buchanon spokes, front and rear. Avon tires. Brakes have new linings. 1950 4 speed transmission. SuperMax Belt Drive. Clutch Tamer kit. M51 Linkert carburetor with larger M51L venturi. Trident Air cleaner. Servicar auto advance timer with e2000 electronic ignition. Early embossed oil tank. Ignition switch is an old Sportster switch with a really cool AMF embossed key. 12v system with Cycle Electric regulator and Shorai Lithium Battery, all cloth wiring, nice clean harness. All lights are LED including the headlight with a high/low switch on the bars. This bike starts easy and runs great, it has a lot of power and easily flies down the highway at 70. I kept my little skull dude on the motor mount and my Indian Larry pressure plate, it has plain aluminum one on it now. Other than that it is exactly as pictured. As you can see the motor is dirty because I ride the snot out of it and it has a bit of an oil leak on the front exhaust valve cover. I also have the primary chain oiler routed to oil the rear chain so naturally that drips some oil as well. I built this bike to ride, everything is well fitted. It's ready to enjoy....
