1948 Harley-Davidson WL Flathead 45 WR.Its as original of a bike that ive come across in a long time, its all oem HD and has been sitting in a barn since 06. This bike starts easy, runs and drives, goes thru all the gears just fine and quiet, clutch feels great, lights all work, high beam low beam, brake light, dash lights, horn makes noise, has original exhaust, bars, grips, j-slot air cleaner with tag, M88 linkert carb which is not original to this year, has glass HD tailight lens which is cracked, original speedo with red pointer but face and numbers were hand painted for some reason, has deluxe seat and #6 high compression aluminum heads which were a 48 option. Engine cases have matching numbers and no repairs that i can see, i did find one repair where the generator strap mounts and looks like a very good job, all tins are HD and no aftermarket parts that i can find.
