The amount of work that has been put into my Chief is literally too much to list. The bike, while with matching numbers, needed quite a bit of TLC. The bike has since been through the hands and care, where it was also painted and powder-coated, who ended up having to rebuild the now bulletproof motor and trans, which have only 580 miles on them, and myself. One of the issues when I received the bike from the midwest was the severe shipping-caused damage to the front fender, which I never bothered to have repaired / painted and has since been misplaced. And personally I enjoy the way the bike looks front-fenderless. But everything now works beautifully on the bike: all wiring is perfect, lights, hi-low switch, ignition light, speedometer light, brake light, horn, speedometer (new repro). And the engine and trans are perfect, provided to his usual highly detailed specs and standards. The paint is very nice, as is the powder-coated frame. Wheels are clean, too, and the Firestone tires are new. It's got some patina'd bits and pieces on it here and there but everything together as it is makes the bike feel at once greatly loved and appropriately used. The bike starts with incredible ease and just simply goes. An extremely comfortable and smooth ride—no rattles, noises or vibrations. And with the proper left-hand-throttle / right-hand-shift configuration. Throttle and advance / person operate smoothly, brakes work very well, and the new clutch is smooth and easy to operate. The bike also has a proper 6 volt system. This Chief needs absolutely nothing! Clean title. Still available at ListedBuy!
