1949 Sunbeam S8, Shaft Drive-Motorcycle. 2648 Original Miles. Initial owner acquired new in the UK. 2nd owner imported to USA in the mid 1990s. Had gas tank flushed, defumed, sandblasted and sealed by Gas Tank Renu.Full rebuilt of carburetor gaskets and drift replaced.Replaced fuel line.Full rebuilt and calibration.Added new Dunlap tires rear and front in addition to fresh tubes.Cleaned front and rear brake shoes and drums.Installed brand-new hand grips.Replaced fork oil with 30 weight.Inspect and adjust clutch assembly.Replaced all light bulbs with new brighter quartz halogen ones.Replaced bend spokes.Included in the sale are:2 Sunbeam repair service handbooks.1949 MN motorbike license plate.Leather pouch that mounts behind the seats.original hand grips.original headlight and taillight bulbs.spare spokes and nipples.Front Fender Sunbeam Plate.This bike begins, runs and trips perfectly.
