The paint is the "original" 1957 repaint. He also updated the headlight nacelle at that time, but reinstalled the original speedometer. He also installed some new-fangled Italian alloy wheels to reduce weight and made a stainless steel battery box. At some point in time he installed new pipes and silencers, but I think they are from newer Bonneville era. Everything else is original. It has just over 18,000 original miles, yes the odometer works...that is just over 18,000 original miles. This is a bike that was ridden, maintained and loved by the same owner for over 62 years.Oh, I also installed a repro Terry spring seat. The original seat was absolutely trashed years ago, and the original owner had installed a new dual seat. That seat is included in the sale. I also have the original owner's manual and a 1951 Triumph parts book, along with some sundry paperwork associated with this bike.Oh, the "original" 1957 paint is silver, but it has a slightly gold tint to it due to age and patina.
