Description:
The sidecar is the right Danish Bender copy of the well-know Steib.This is a really unique package that runs in addition to it has and looks been very well took care of. The outcome of diversification by the Danish vacuum producer, Fisker & & Nielsen, the Nimbus bike first appeared in 1919. Unusually, just inline four-cylinder designs were constructed. These were of advanced design, utilizing shaft final drive and pushed steel frames right from the beginning of production, and pioneered using the telescopic front fork in the mid-1930s. The early designs featured a distinct tubular spinal column frame that doubled as the fuel tank, quickly acquiring the nickname 'stovepipe'. Motorcycle manufacturing was suspended in 1928 to enable the company to focus on producing its Nilfisk vacuum cleaners, and when the brand-new Nimbus appeared in 1934 it was with a power system that revealed strong motor-industry influence, being constructed along vehicle lines with essential crankcase/cylinder block in cast iron and a detachable alloy sump. The cast-iron cylinder head was topped by an alloy housing for the single overhead camshaft, which was driven by shaft-and-bevel gears. A single-plate clutch sent power to the three-speed gearbox. Foot modification for the gearbox, a beefier front fork and bigger brakes had been included by the end of the 1930s, but after that the Nimbus changed little up until series manufacturing was ended in 1954, when again to free up resources for the vacuum company.
