After World War 2 the Italian company ISO THERMOS manufactured refrigerated truck bodies and invented the Thermos Flask. In the late forties and early fifties they offered several different small capacity motorcycles. They all used the " Twingle" style motor with two pistons and one combustion chamber. This engine style was also used in the Austrian PUCH motorcycles. They also offered a micro car called the ISETTA (" little Iso" ) with a 235c " twingle" engine. The Isetta patent was sold to BMW who sold tens of thousand of Isetta cars (with 250/300cc engines) This new source of funds allowed the ISO company to develop and market luxury cars like the ISO Rivolta, ISO Grifo, ISO Lele and ISO Fidia. The bike offered here from my more than 30 year collection of European motorcycles is a 1954 ISO 125. 125cc 2 stroke. 3 speed. Good running and riding condition. ISO tire pump.
