Hello, This bike was purchased at a mecum auction I went to back in January 2022 with intents of restoring it closer to original but have a lot of projects going on so letting this one go! It’s got a clean and clear CA title in my name. The motor has nice matching cases as well with no case repairs in the usual spots! If you do some research you can see a more original KHK sell for big bucks over 20k done right in the black/yellow scheme! The bike was a rider it starts rides and stops as it should! Personally I prefer a magneto over a distributor any day it’s got a nice tagged Fairbanks mag on it! They came stock with a linkert carb but this one’s got a super e on it although it still has the 4 bolt manifold with an adapter to run the E so can easily go back! It’s got an alternator setup where your genny would normally go. The previous owner setup a shutoff valve on the oil line as well so the motorcycle doesn’t sump oil when parked! Honestly this bikes got some killer potential and is in a true k frame which you can distinguish from the upper motor mount! A lot of k models you see have been pieced together I believe this drivetrain has always belonged to this frame!
