1956 Triumph T110 Tiger 650 This is a great pre-unit Triumph 650 project bike. The bike has a clean title in my name, matching numbers, a rebuilt magneto, and great compression. I bought this bike in 2015 at a large (J. Woods) motorcycle auction in Missouri. I got auction fever and paid way too much for it. After returning home I noticed the bike had no spark, so I had the magneto rebuilt by Doug Wood at the cost of $500. Life, family, and career priorities intersected and I never moved any further with this project. It has been sitting in my garage mostly untouched since then. The bike was purchased missing an oil tank and a few other bits. I added the stock oil tank, although the bike is actually plumbed for a custom tank. I left the oil lines as they were in case I ever found “the right” tank for this bike. The seat appears to be an old Bates competition seat. It needs a rear mount. The fenders are vintage aftermarket custom alloy fenders and the rear could use another mounting bracket at the shock.I really love the look of this bike, and it is a desirable year pre unit bike with the big brake, alloy cylinder head, and improved suspension. This definitely looks like a bike right out of "The Wild One."Please feel free to ask questions. Any payment form other than cash must be cleared in my bank account prior to pickup. There is a modest reserve well below what I expect the value to be.
