1958 Harley Davidson XL, This is most likely the finest example left of this unusual year and design. 1958 was the second year for the XL and there were three designs that year. XL, XLH and XLCH. the least expensive manufacturing was the XL with only 577 units made that year. this is a very early '58 with a low serial number, and a real matching numbers 14000 initial mile bike that was dealt with to a no expense spared restoration. This bike is museum quality. I have personally ridden this bike simply short of 300 miles, prior to that it was on static display screen in the last owners living space, having never ever been ridden after restoration. I am the third owner of this bike since it was brand-new and can offer title paperwork back to 1962.
