These old BMWs are simply a delight to ride. They are so sturdily built and they float down the road so efficiently that it's difficult to wipe the smile off your face as you ride along. In a word, lovely. This one has actually just been gone with by our vintage BMW expert. The valves, ignition timing and carburetors were adjusted. It begins up quickly, the engine is extremely quiet, and it runs along like a little sewing device. The tires are in excellent shape. If you enjoy very clean bikes that aren't so best that you are terrified to ride them, this is the bike for you! It looks gorgeous total with nice, shiny paint and chrome, however does have the flaws and mild corrosion on little products occasionally that come with use. So, it's magnificent to look at, just not an ideal show bike. The most noticeable imperfections on it are a big chip in the paint at the rear edge of the gas tank, some scratches on the front fender, and a bend at the front right lip of the front fender. If, however, you are into restoring bikes, this one has matching engine and frame numbers and it is mechanically rock strong, so it would be an ideal candidate for a complete restoration.
