1961 BMW R50 restored in 1998, mileage is unknown speedometer was not working when my dad acquired the bike.Speedometer was rebuilt and set at 21133 miles it now has 25751 miles.Transition was rebuilt.carburetors are the new design Bings.The engine was dismantled and examined, he changed the rings, valves and valve springsHe changed the wheel bearings guiding head bearings and swingarm bearings. New circuitry harnessAll rubber was replaced.The exhaust is reproductionPowder covered frame and swingarms.The bike was lightly crashed and has damage the valve covers, mufflers, finder and shock tower.Tank has scratches from a magnetic tank bag.The back finder has scratches and damages from a seat. There is more that I am forgetting, I have all trips and receipts.runs great.
