Bought in 1990. I believe this bike has 42k original miles. Myself putting the last 5k on her. When I rebuilt the engine it had the original pistons in it. This is an outstanding example of an original 1961 FL . The little details people don't look for ,,,,,like aluminum pans , copper and steel gas lines. cloth covered wiring . She has it all. The engine is bored .10 over. There are no broken fins or stripped holes . All #'s match. The bike starts, runs strong, shifts, and stops as it should. Has new battery, new brakes F&R. New oil and filter. changed brake fluid, and trans oil. O-ring chain, new sprockets. Paint is not factory. Done in 1991 by Rick Doss Customs. Matched the Hi-Fi blue and Birch White as close as possible. I would not be afraid to leave on a cross country trip on this survivor. The only part I know that is not oem is the exhaust . It does have primary belt ,but I have original primary parts that will be included.
