1962 BMW R60/2 in excellent condition. One of the finest motorcycles I have ever owned. This bike runs perfectly and idles like a Swiss watch. It has been gone through extensively, and has the following upgrades : - Complete bike rebuild at 49,000 miles- Slingers cleaned at 49,000 miles with complete engine rebuild, new pistons, con rods, crank balanced, etc. - Newer works performance nitrogen filled shocks- 12v Alternator conversion by Benchmarkworks- 12v Li Fe PO4 battery pack hidden inside original 6v Bosch battery. Comes with charger - Albert stainless steel mirrors- New Metzler C bloc tires- Newer footpeg rubber front and rear- Headlight guard by Blue Moon Cycles- Crash guard by Blue Moon Cycles- Chrome hubcaps- Luggage rack on rear fender- Tire pump- LK heads- New driveshaft boot- Stainless decorative trim on Roundels- New clutch and pressure plate at 49,000 miles- Deep finned higher capacity aluminum oil pan- Custom domed head stainless steel hardware throughout- Schorch Meijer 6 gallon capacity fuel tank w/ toolbox- Powerlett added under seat for heated vest, etc. - New seal on shifter shaft. - Braided cloth fuel lines- Frame, Engine and Vin plate all have matching numbers- This vehicle does not have original paint- Has a Tachometer!- Complete tool kit and tool box key This is a great bike that is fun to ride and turns heads wherever it goes.
