1963 BSA Rocket Gold Star â 650cc Pre-Unit- Twin- Genuine RGSbeautifully restored BSA Rocket Gold Star 650 cc. This bike is genuine, original and exceptionally rare. Approximately 1600 BSA RGS were produced between 1962 and 1963. All original numbers with documentation from the BSA. Runs as good as it looks- the bike handles very well. This bike underwent a nut and bolt restoration approximately 2 years and has been stored indoors in a heated garage since then. Has has been out handful times on Sunday rides. Work completed: Engine professionally rebuild- touring cams Correct " STB. T" gearbox- completely rebuild- Mostly British New Borrani Rims, spokes and nipples from Buchanan âs USATank beautifully chromed by Deco Chrome Montreal New Fenders from Autocycle UKNew Avon Speedmaster (front) and Dunlop K70s (rear) tires with new tubes The exhaust headers were hand bend â correct swan neck type- autocycle UK- chromed by Deco Chrome Montreal Seat- redone by Andrew Leighton UKSpeedo and Tach Restored by Vintage Cables â Alberta, Canada Frame- powder coated Paint- Showroom condition All parts are NOS from Mikes Classic Spares â Australia- have receipts NOS QD â correct headlamp fittings Brand New Carb to correct specification from Amal/Burlen- UK All cables- brand new- Autocycle Brand new wiring harness and battery All levers new and in mint condition Complete tool kit190mm brake with brand new liners New renolds chains Brand new swing arm bushings - yes the old ones were a pain to take out. All appropriate fasteners were Cadmium plated or chromed All original Owen Newbury bolts- cad plated Correct upside down bars Brand new swing arms and front shocks/stanchions Eddie Dow double damping rod kit4 speed clutch Paint- Metallic Red-over-old.
