This 1965 BMW R60/2 was imported in 1965 from West Germany to California and remained there with its original owner until being acquired by the 2nd owner in 2012. The bike is finished in Avus Black and is powered by a 594cc opposed twin paired with a four-speed transmission. Features include 18″ chrome wire-spoke wheels, shaft drive, a black two-up seat, a chrome low-rise handlebar, bar-end turn signals, Albert-style mirrors, an Earles fork, and dual Bing carburetors.Original import and historical ownership documentation, handwritten service notes are included in sale. Current clean California title in the seller’s name, registration until May 2024Heinrich fuel tank is finished in Avus Black with white pinstripes and features a locking top tool box.Slingers were cleaned by previous owner/long time well known bmw collector out of Santa Barbara CA.
