Nice original early vin 1966 BSA Spitfire. Matching engine, frame and title serial numbers. Mint original Dunlop aluminum rims. Correct BSA stamped AMAL GP carbs with rubber mounted matchbox float. Original 1 year only front brake. Super rare original Lyta aluminum gas tank that I got from BSA factory team racer Goldstar Freddy a few years before he passed away. These tanks are impossible to find, which is why they make so many fiberglass copies & the knockoffs from India. But this is the real deal from 1966.As far as I can tell, the bike has been parked since about 1982, which was the last inspection sticker on the front fork. Engine turns over and shifts through the gears, but not currently running. Ready for restoration. Includes a few NOS parts, including a new wire harness. The battery tray brackets and tire pump brackets were removed, but I have originals taken from another frame, and they are included. From what I can see, all the original factory fasteners are still on the bike. I’ve owned this for about 12 years and it’s still several bikes away from me ever getting to it, so it’s time to let it go.Please ask all questions before hitting Buy Now.
