Up for sale in time for the Holidays is a brought back Norton Atlas 750, loaded with every imaginable duration Dunstall bit. The bike was very first imported to Berliner on June 3, 1966 as a "Norton Atlas 750" according to VMCC records. It was recovered by a previous Norton dealer in the mid-80s as a Dunstall Dominator, with many genuine, duration Dunstall parts. The cost to purchase and professionally recover a standard/stock-equipped Atlas is at least equivalent to the buy-it-now cost. To replicate this bike would no doubt be a fair bit more, assuming you had the time and could even find all the Dunstall items presented right here. And if you do not like the Dunstall cosmetics (tank, seat and fairing), then just replace them with readily-available Manx-inspired or stock pieces for a more conventional appearance, but still with the hot, Dunstall-ized motor, bore alloy wheels, Dunstall swept silencers and backs, and modified brake. The Motorcycle Mechanics publication cover picture and the black and white 1966 Dunstall Dominator catalog picture are simply to show how close this bike is to the real, duration Dunstall machine.
