1968 BSA A65L Lightning. 3800 genuine miles. Matching number bike. Black plate California bike. Was parked up in the original owner’s garage here in Southern California for decades until recently resurrected. I am the second owner. I changed all the fluids and the air filters. Fitted new tires. I cleaned out the inside of the tank and it is spotless but the seal is perished. Petcock corks replaced. Ignition switch replaced. I sonically cleaned and rebuilt the carbs. A new battery is fitted. The bike starts up 1st or second kick. Idles nicely and rides very well. As you can see from the pictures, the condition of the bike is as one would expect from a Southern California bike with such low mileage. The chrome on the wheels, tank and exhaust is excellent. There is a little fading on the top of the tank and the decals on the are tired. The bike has a clean California title in my name and is located in Torrance. This is a unique timepiece that has not been messed with.
