Description:
Jeff Cochran Speedking 1968 FLH Chopper. Rolling/riding work of art originally built and featured in “The Horse Backstreet Choppers” in 2011. Custom fabricated and high-end parts everywhere including some really nice brass pieces. Runs flawlessly, everything works, no issues and really quite clean. No odometer but given hairs had not even been worn off original tires when I bought bike, I would estimate maybe 1-2k total on bike since built (clearly has been show bike). A few specific specs included below along with pics and simple video (sorry video and sound quality just OK as used my phone to record). Original 1968 FLH frame hard-tailed by Jeff Cochran (powder-coated). Rebuilt 1968 FLH motor (case number matching title) with Mallory electronic ignition, S&S Super E carb, 2” BDL open primary with ball-bearing lockup clutch. Custom mid-controls, foot-clutch, and jockey shift lever/knob (super smooth clutch action and shift, really-well done). Stainless exhaust with brass tips and fresh wrap. Dual rear brake calipers (one operated by hand lever, other with foot). Remote oil filter, beautiful hand-tool solo seat. Chrome everywhere shines bright, no chipping etc, looks brand new. I recently changed-up look adding new 23” front spool wheel and Avon tire, stainless bars, upgraded hand-control master cylinder, and behind leg jockey shifter rather than original forward positioned hand shifter. HOWEVER, all of the parts originally on bike as shown in article (i. e. shifter, hand-control, bars, 21” front wheel, grips) will be included in sale and can be easily swapped back onto bike at buyers preference. Paintwork is just incredible, hard to appreciate the depth in the pictures. There are two very tiny chips (one on tank, one on fender) trivial to me but could easily get these retouched if preferred. Clean clear OEM Harley 1968 FLH title in my name with VIN correctly matching motor stamping. Asking $23,000, not interested in any trades, please. Still available at ListedBuy!
