1968 Harley Davidson XLH Sportster. These pre-1970 Sportsters are are only going up in my opinion and are still relatively inexpensive and they are cool bikes. I am going through a little loss of space so selling a few bikes I have owned for a few years and this is one of them I am also going to sell a 1971 I have if interested in both I’ll try to get photos taken and listed tomorrow 10/17. I bought this about 4 years ago and was running that day and sounded good but hasn’t been cranked since that day and the battery is completely dead I will remove before ship or you pick it up as this battery is no good. You will need to go through it and I would highly recommend new tires before riding it. The bike has a great look to it and engine is mated to a newer carburetor. Engine looks great on the bike, frame is the original 1968 frame, later model front end & rear fender. The photos should tell the story please view them all closely and use the zoom. I am selling this as is with what is seen. Only a couple smalls I misplaced the battery cover but you can get them cheap. All in all a cool bike that I had plans to do something with but it looks like it will have to be the next guy.Please have money in hand ready to transfer before placing a bid as there is no reserve and any bid could result in a winning bid. I feel I have put a very low starting price on the bike but Please DO Not Place An Offer Unless You Are Ready To Buy And Know What You Are Buying. If you put in any sort of offer please be 100% sure you are buying the bike if accepted. If not ready to transfer please do not bid and please also ask any questions you may have before placing a bid. I bank with Bank Of America and Wells Fargo for easy wire transfers if that is how you plan on paying and for international buyers. I have a clear correct South Carolina title ready to priority mail to you or hand to you depending on if you are picking it up or shipping.I have sold a lot of motorcycles and parts on eBay and have a lot of happy customers and this Sporty will certainly make another. I require a $250 deposit via PayPal through eBay paid within the first 24 hrs. the auctions end and the balance due within the week. The balance must be paid via cash in person, check or bank transfer. PayPal is not accepted for final payment. If you are shipping this that is fine but you must arrange and pay for it and please if you are get on it in a timely manner. International bidders are fine with me just please stick by the same time frames on payment and pick up and or shipping.
