For sales is a solid running 1968 single carb 650cc Triumph parallel twin. This bike is the go-to bike for daily riding for the author of the well known textbook Discovering the Motorcycle. The bike has about 35K on it, with an engine refresh (including sludge trap cleaning) at about 28k. The engine is well sorted, with no oil burning (see video), and a smooth shifting transmission. This bike has been kept in original condition with original paint. Bike runs very reliably with original points ignition. Starts in one or two kicks. New parts over the years include a pair of new shocks in back, new front coil springs, sprockets, chain, clutch plates, and kill switch. New instruments added for this sales as old ones stopped working years ago, good tires. Bike does have some rust and chrome flaking on rear rim. Serious offers only please.
