Up for auction is a 1970 Honda CB750 Four. This motorcycle has been sitting for many years and needs work to run againFrame number- CB750-1022153Engine number- CB750E-1022388I bought this motorcycle from the original owner. I have the original title from 1970 that will go with the bike unless the buyer needs me to transfer title to me first. The motorcycle was purchased new in June of 1970 from the Honda dealership that was in Point pleasant, NJ. The fairing you see was a dealer add-on and was on the bike when it was purchased. The only thing not stock are the mufflers. The originals rusted. He rode the bike on and off until 1993 when it was parked. In 2012 the bike was in a flood caused by hurricane Sandy. There was 16 inches of salt water in the garage. The water did not touch the electrical system or fuel system. The owner did drain the oil, and refill several times but the bike already did not run so the oil could not circulate. That is why the engine is frozen. The transmission does click through the gears easily, clutch works , all cables move, carb slides move. Bike rolls easily. He did wash it several times so nothing else is frozen. The gas tank is in very good shape , no rust. The garage was very dry and well ventilated so that is how the cosmetics stayed so nice. The reason he sold the bike finally in 2023 is he decided it had sat long enough and wanted it to go to someone who would enjoy it. He knew of my shop and what I do.
