Click image to enlarge Description 1970 Norton Commando Roadster. Located in PORTLAND, OREGON. Serial Number: 136518 This 1970 Norton Commando Roadster has had one owner for the past 35 years. Always maintained, sparingly used and never abused. 30,942 miles on the odometer believed to be correct. Straight, clean and in excellent condition throughout. Numbers-matching frame and engine. 750cc engine runs beautifully with lots of power and yes, it's FAST. Last year drum brakes stop smooth and straight. Good tires. Original paint and decals. Excellent original fenders and chrome. Original green dot gauges all function accurately. Rare, optional factory headight surround bumper ring. New battery. Full tool roll and air filter included. The only deviations from original is added electronic ignition and the previous owner machined billet aluminum extension arms for the rear pegs to raise them slightly higher from the upswept dual exhaust. He also added risers to the handlebars for a more comfortable seating position. (See photos.) Any of these modifications can be easily unbolted and the original parts are included to return to bone stock, if desired.
