1971 Honda CB 750 Four K-1I bought this bike in 2011 from a restorationist who kept it as original as possible. Within two years I had to mothball the bike after two hip replacements ended my riding career.It’s been covered in my garage since then, the gas tank was drained, and the battery removed. The bike sounded great, shifted and rode properly before I had to stop riding. This 1971 Honda CB 750 Four K-1 is complete, but it will require a new battery and some work (carbs, brakes) to get it up and operating again.This low milage (~5,814) bike has the original candy ruby red paint, nice but not perfect. Minor scuffs and dings of a 51-year-old bike, but it is very presentable. The HM300 exhaust pipes are in great shape,patina but no rust and no holes. The insturment gauge lenses are clear. The bike has a NOS seat from Honda, not a reproduction. NOS left hand turn signal switch. NOS exhaust baffles. NOS grab bar. The tubeless front and rear tires have under 700miles on them. The Lester mag style wheels are correct for this year, an expensive and rare upgrade. The gas tank is plastic lined and has a NOS gas cap and petcock. The turn signals were new front and rear when I bought the bike. I added a windscreen which will stay with the bike unless the buyer doesn’t want it. I printed out the entire Owners Manual and can send that along with the bike or provide a .PDF.I have a clear title in my name. The VIN is CB 750109XXXX. The engine number is CB750E-1097850. The frame is stamped 6-71 but the bike was originally titled in 1972 when it was first sold.This was not uncommon. The VIN checks out as a 1971 K-1. NO WARRANTY IS OFFERED OR IMPLIED.The bike is located in Katy, Texas, just west of Houston. You must make, and pay for, your own shipping arrangements. I am not physically able to help crate or load the bike. You or your shipper must be prepared to handle those details, no exceptions. I will be available at the time of pickup.A $500 deposit is required at the end of the auction. If the $500 deposit is not paid within 48 hours the bike will go to the next bidder. I prefer cash in person for the balance of the purchase price. With any other form of payment such as bank wire, the funds must clear prior to taking delivery.
