1971 Honda CT70 Trail3 speed automatic. 3800 miles, original paint,fenders, handlebars, exhaust, the only major component not original is the seat. Starts easy, idles, runs well, shifts and stops as it should. No smoke, leaks, or funny noises, Lights and speedometer work, horn rarely. The original paint has some patina but for a 52 year old mini bike it is in great shape and shines well. The chrome is also nice for the year. Tires have good tread, hold air, but have some weather cracking due to age. The original exhaust has a repair in the usual spot, but welded properly and is permanent and the front fender has a dent on the right side. I believe the rest of the bike is dent free and handlebars are pretty straight.it was just serviced, new carb, oil change, spark plug, valves and cam chain adjusted, timing set. There is no title, it was lost to the ages if there ever was one. It will come with a clean VIN check and a legal Pa. Bill of Sale. What else is there to say? It's a get on and ride iconic Honda Trail 70, a super clean survivor, and a great investment. Truly "Blast from the past fun!" Anyone can buy a restored one but to quote an overused cliche "They are only original once". Unmolested Trail 70's in this original condition are getting harder and harder to find especially at a price us average folk can afford. Hagerty values this bike in #1 condition @ $9600.00, a #2 (Excellent) @ $6600.00, a #3 (Good) @ $3900.00 and a #4 (Fair) @ $2800.00. That said, the price is more than fair.
