This R75/5 has a 5 speed transmission rather of the basic 4 speed.THE ACTUAL MILAGE OF THIS MOTORCYCLE IS UNKNOWN BECAUSE ITIS A RESTORATION FROM PARTS. The milage provided in the publishing is exactly what's on the speedometer and is therefore DOES NOT REPRESENT THE THE ACTUAL MILAGE OF THE ENGINE. I got this bike in 2008 and right here is what I've had done to it because: Piston seals replacedBRAND NEW OEM SPEEDOMETERNew BatteryNew ClutchHorn/Signal switch replacedThe battery covers were painted.replaced and re-chromed tool kit with new OEM version.The Pipes are more recent OEM replacements that originated from another BMW that I had.The Rear Tail/Signal Light assembly was changed and slightly modified (shortened the lightbar slightly to accommodate Krauser bags)Issues: There's still a little oil leakage coming off the clutch pivot. I think this to be due to a bad seal on the engine to drive shaft boot. I had this same issue on another R75/5. It leakages just after a ride and ultimately stops and is never more than 1/4 ounce at a time.The gas tank has a small dent on the left side near the gas cap. There are alsosome miner scratches on the best side of the tank. There appears to be a small anxiety fractureon the rear fender under the seat where the mounting bolts live. To the finest of my understanding theseare the only issues that I have identified.Even though it's not all initial, the bike is in really good condition. When I take this infant out (just on good days), I receivemany compliments from other riders. tires are in excellent condition and have plenty of life left.
