I am selling my 1972 Honda XL250. Has just over 4000 miles. It is street legal and is licensed in Iowa. I have the title in hand. Had it professionally painted white last year. Starts first or second kick and is a strong runner. It looks and runs good. Will provide a manual with the bike. The tank is leaking slightly; im assuming it's at the petcock as I had the tank checked when it was painted last year, but don't know for sure. Tank also leaks out the top if you fill it too full, but new caps/seals are cheap on ebay. Seat also has some loose stitching, but not a tough fix. Don't expect perfection; it is a 40 year-old bike. Put a new quad air filter on last year that looks great. I think someone put some new wheels on at some point cuz they may be aluminum. This would be a great bike for an in town or short commute to work. It would be perfect for trails or the farm. Asking reduced price of $925. Not a perfect bike but looks good and will be a faithful rider. Feel free to ask questions. Located in Spencer IA.
