Beautifully restored Honda z50 Mini Trail display piece. This little bike started out as a much loved 1972 Honda z50a Mini Trail. I purchased it from someone who has been restoring these for 30 years. The last picture shows what it looked like when I bought it. Not much was left and what it did have was worn out! The frame# indicates it was from 1972 but the restoration was done using the Candy Ruby Red color and graphics from the 1975 model. The paint is outstanding and was done by a professional shop that specializes in custom cars and motorcycles. The original parts still remaining are the frame, front fork, steering cover and wheel hubs. EVERYTHING was done using new OEM or reproduction parts...fuel tank, seat, fenders, brakes, lights, handlebars, switches, wiring, tires and tubes. Even the motor was replaced with a new Honda 49cc motor. Which is why the motor# is different than the motor #'s from the 1970's. It is brand new and currently has less than 1 mile on it. As I've used it for a display piece and have not really ridden it. But it starts and runs great.
