Please ask any questions not covered below BEFORE you bid/purchase. Thank you! This 1972 Honda Z50a Mini Trail was acquired from the estate of the original owner. It is a numbers matching bike with the typical signs of wear and use associated with a vehicle this age. We set out to refurbish (not restore) this bike. Every effort was carefully considered to retain and preserve the original elements of the bike. All of the parts remain original to the bike unless otherwise noted. Frame: Z50A-1016642 Engine: Z50AE-373869 Most of the original decals are present/ none have been replaced. There is no title / Titles were not issued for this bike in the state of Georgia Fuel System: This is a 4 stroke gasoline engine. The gas tank was removed, repaired, and thoroughly cleaned. The underside of the tank received 2 coats of rust reform paint to prevent any future surface rust and to help preserve the integrity of the metal. The gas cap appears to be original to the bike. The candy gold paint and decal are original. The tank has some typical dents, scratches and surface rust. The fuel petbird is original and operates (on/off) as it should. The fuel line was replaced with high quality German made braided lines. The carburetor and air filter housing was removed, disassembled and cleaned. Gaskets were replaced as needed. The throttle and throttle cable are original to the bike and were lubricated and cleaned. An inline fuel filter was added and the bike is currently being run on ethanol free gas. Fuel has been drained while in storage/ not in use. Electrical: This is a 6 volt system. The coil present on the bike was incorrect and was replaced with a brand new coil specific to the bike. The spark plug, lead and cap have been replaced to the correct specifications for this model/year. The points were cleaned... Still available at ListedBuy!
