This bike runs like it should, I freshened up the top end because the length of time it was sitting before I could get to it (not because it was stuck, I just thought it was the right thing to do). As far as I can tell, this has all the correct 1972 parts, such as, but not limited to: proper date stamping on the rims (these do have some pitting but did not want to replace because of the stamping on them - maybe a re-chrome is in order - up to the buyer), brake rotor, rear brake brace, I could not find a stamp on the swing arm (I read some do not have a stamp), the gauges were rebuilt and are 1972 gauges, the carbs are correct as is the head. Other items of interest are the Dunlop tires which I think are the original ones or type (they do show weather checking), the forks are correct 72 forks, chain oiler & tank are on the bike but I didn't bother to hook it up. Numbers match (stock numbers).
