This is a very nice 1972 CZ 400 motocross machine that is ready to ride and be enjoyed. Let’s get the important details out of the way. First, there is there is no title for the bike! E-Bay took that option away from everyone a few years ago. The bike will be sold with an official DMV Nevada bill of sale. Off road competition machines weren’t sold with titles back in the day when they were originally sold. If you are a dedicated CZ enthusiast, you already know all about these legendary machines and just how competitive they are on the vintage motocross tracks. This bike benefits from a Mikuni carburetor and aftermarket exhaust pipe and plastic fuel tank which saves quite a bit of weight versus the stock sheet metal fuel tank and other metal components. The factory original exhaust pipe, fuel tank, and air box go with the sale. I do not have the factory front fender. This is not being offered as a “trailer queen”, rather, it is intended for the serious vintage CZ racer or enthusiast. I have some very serious sheet metal items in stock if you want to simply do a quick bolt on restoration, but, why spend extra money if you are planning on actually racing the bike and will be removing all the pretty steel items anyway. It has plenty of hot blue spark and runs just fine through all 4 gears. It’s all there and ready for the track. It doesn’t need to make any apologies or excuses. This is a matching numbers machine and priced fairly in today’s market for sale to the serious minded CZ enthusiast. I should not have to say this, but, due to the many scammers out here in E-Bayland, I absolutely will not respond to any requests for text messages. If you just joined e-Bay today, you won’t be buying this bike, so don’t bother as I don’t have time to play the games that scammers like to play. According to the e-Bay police, I can’t use the word d**d beat bidders as it might offend somebody or somehow put potential buyers out for some reason. If that's the case, you are probably not really deserving of a CZ. If my being straightforward offends anyone, then off you go! Best of luck in your search for a different 1972 CZ. This isn’t my first rodeo and I am hoping to sell this bike to a serious CZ enthusiast and vintage motocross rider. Please be advised not to “accidentally” have your dog, cat, or child hit the “Buy It Now” option as you will be responsible to complete the transaction. It seems as though the trend is that there are many, many viewers who “watch” the bike, but, “watching” the bike won’t put it in your own garage. Personally, I don’t understand the logic of “watching” the bike if you are not genuinely interested in owning it in the near future. I guess I am just “old school” at heart and business is business and cash is king! Remember, there are many, many vintage Japanese bikes either sitting on display, or in the boneyard. CZ's are still the weapon of choice for vintage motocross racing and when tuned properly, are still plenty quick and very, very rugged! Reasonable offer will be considered, but no lowball offers, so please be realistic and have your funds ready to go if you decide to buy the bike.
